JOB SUMMARY

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Participate as part of the team in application
development life cycle and ensure projects are
completed on a timely basis.
2. Understands and uses appropriate tools to
analyze, identify, and resolve business and/or
technical problems.
3. Stays current on emerging tools, techniques, and
technologies.
4. Involve in application integration, enhancement,
implementation and version control of existing system.
5. Provide technical support for multi production
environment.
6. Develop and upkeep application documentations.
7. Writing Test Plan and perform peer code review
before staging and release to production.
8. Proficient with hands-on experience and
development using VB6, VB.NET or ASP.NET, COM, DCOM,
ADO and SQL.
9. Experience in MSSQL, ADO.NET, ASP, VBScript,
JavaScript, HTML, DHTML, XML, Windows NT/2000/2003 are
added advantage.
10. Innovative, creative and have good analysis and
strong communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Must be highly motivated, independent and result
oriented.

QA_Engineer

* The Job:

* Review user requirements and specifications
* Write Test Plans, perform Functional, RT and
'End-to-End' testings and ensure integrity of systems
* Identify and raise software bugs, anomalies and
potential improvements
* Follow through the software bugs with the
Development & Support team
* Perform multi-user and stress-test on the
software build
* Test compatibility of software build in multiple
platforms
* Guide junior team members in the area of testing
* Recommend to Quality Assurance Team Leader on
solving or minimising the Quality issues
* Work with vendors to adhere and ensure that the
Release Management process and Service Level Agreement
are met
* Ensure completion of all project deliverables
and milestones
* Responsible for adopting proper governance
process within the project.
* Coordinates technical and business issues
escalation when appropriate
* Supervise, mentor, and coach junior team members

The Person:

* Bachelor degree (or higher) in Computer Science
or Information Technology with at least 2 – 3 years of
experience in a related field.
* Good knowledge of application systems in
relation to architecture, database design, data
modeling and data access methodology.
* Experience in the following is preferred:
o Application platform: Amdocs Clarify CRM
12.5, Billing Enabler 5.5,

Weblogic 8.1, Tuxedo

o OS platform: Windows, HP-UX, OpenVMS
o Database: Oracle 9i, Oracle RDB
o Scripting: Shell, XML, J2EE, PL/SQL,
Stored Procedures
* Competent with common PC based Office Automation
software (e.g. word-processors, spreadsheet, mail
applications, etc)
* Ability to communicate and work well with
vendors, end users and senior management.
* Good analytical skills with ability to
understand business and technical requirements.
* Strong interpersonal skills and able to work
with minimum supervision.
* Experience in automated testing will be an added
advantage
* Willing to be on standby 24x7 and possess own

Application Support (PQI-PAS)
Job Function:

* Support of Plant Applications (PDMS, SECAD
[EDB], SPPID, AUCOPLAN, etc.) and Project Applications
(EPC Tool Suite) in Plant Organization, Sites and
other project locations.
* Troubleshooting of Plant and Project
Applications and request higher level of support if
needed.
* Provide application training to user.
* Perform daily first level support to user and
attend to support call promptly.
* Resolve call that logged into system and inform
team member if escalation needed.
* Maintain user access with central support in
Switzerland for new user and perform necessary setup
to user's machine.
* Assists in creating and implementing
documentation, standards, policy, guidelines, and
practices.

Requirements:

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's
Degree, Professional Degree in Computer
Science/Information Technology or Engineering.
* At least 2 years of full time working experience
in the related field is required for this position.
* Knowledge and experience on Engineering or
Project applications is a must.
* Working experience on Project Engineering
environment and flow/process.
* Possess strong technical knowledge & working
experience in the following products:

- PDMS or any Engineering/ Project application
- Windows 2000/XP client
- Windows 2000/2003 server
- Citrix

* Possess excellent project coordination and good
system troubleshooting skills.
* Good command of English – written, spoken and
reading
* Possess good initiative, interpersonal and
excellent communication skills with strong analytical
ability
