Head of the project is Assoc. Professor Dr Intan Osman.The position will be available from 1 st January, 2009. Project Title "Womens? Participation in Sustainable Development: SME?s Entrepreneurship in Ecotourism for Value Creation Services" Research Objectives 1. To identify women entrepreneurs, who provide products and services either directly or indirectly related to ecotourism in Malaysia (Profiling) 2. To explore Personal factors such as Competency, Empowerment and Motivation of women entrepreneurs in ecotourism related activities 3. To explore the support that women entrepreneurs obtain from Governmental and Non-governmental agencies in running ecotourism activities 4. To investigate the relationship between Personal Factors, External Factors and Sustainability as outcomes of ecotourism related activities such as homestay programs. Basic Job Description for Candidate 1. Literature Review 2. Questionnaire preparation 3. Data collection 4. Data analysis/interpreta tion 5. Write-ups for article/report etc. 6. Arranging team meetings/functions/ field trips 7. Writing minutes/transcripts Basic Requirements for Candidate 1. Malaysian national 2. Education Level- Diploma/Degree/ Master/Phd in progress 3.
